The latest NEXT (NBT Europe) is 2017-2 ! That is the version I am using and have on a USB stick.

There is a MOVE version 2018-1. I have a link for Torrent on another site. I did not think that the MOVE version is for an F25, although the F25 is shown on the list on the site. I could be wrong! Do you have the very latest version iDrive? What year is your X3 F25?

As last year, I would appreciate the information for updating the North American maps in my 2016, 28i, X3 with 609 Navigation System Professional.

A few days ago I requested info for updating the Nav System maps, quickly received what I needed, and with no problem at all my maps have been reliably updated. This is a repeat of exactly the same perfect experience for a number of years now.

I am assuming as a result of my post requesting information I (and many others who also posted in this forum) received the following unsolicited private message.

"Hey, I PM'd Shawn for the NEXT maps, but he said you can only buy them for this one guy, who asks $50 for it. Have you been able to get them free? I already have an FSC code, so just needed the maps, and ended up buying them. If you're looking for the NEXT maps, I can give you a copy for $15 to help me lower the cost of what I spent. Let me know. You'd have to have an FSC code generator (I read a guy on the forum did that for himself) or a lifetime code from before, like I had."

$50 for updating maps once a year is very reasonably and the recommended provider Gerry has proven repeatedly to be reliable and trustworthy. In my opinion, I strongly caution against saving a relatively inconsequential amount of money and taking a huge risk to both your personal computer and your car by downloading gigabytes of data from, at least to me, an unknown source that responds to messages in this forum with a private message.

Holy paranoia Batman... Last year, a member on here was kind enough to send me a link to a hosting site for the 2016 maps and I got them free, because I didn't need the FSC codes, which is where all the work is.

Only a douchebag would give another member a corrupted map file and I've never heard of that happening either FWIW, and people share maps all the time.

I'd be surprised if by now the maps aren't on torrent sites even. I'm seeing them on Ebay for much less, which is a sign that they're widely available.

Anyone is free to get their maps based on their own comfort level and what they want to spend, but your PSA is over the top.
