I think he likes it! Note no bouncing/jiggling down those tiny little country b roads...
I agree with the comments regarding how direct and alert the car feels you really don't expect it to be that way.

No problem all. I liked the review as well. Nice to see a review from someone who ‘gets it’ on what a makes a M car instead of asking why it does not ride like a super fast soft wobbly SUV. 😂

The F97/98 sub forum is full of whiners that complain about the ride and talk about how good it is to remove the performance summer tires and put on all season tires... Ugh |

Nice. I've noticed the X3M gets a lot more love than the X4M... any clue why that might be?
The X3 looks considerably worse in my opinion |

These are still SUV which means people who are buying them are also looking for the gains in utility, else they'd buy a car. Cutting out half of the cargo space of the vehicle really puts a dent in that.

The F98 proportions are just wonky imho. Kind of works for the X6 variants, but doesn't quite carry over to the X4. But there are no wrong opinions here!

I prefer the boxy look and also the way x4 slopes just isnt the same when comparing cayenne n the cayenne coupe. X4 slopes weird.

For the UK and really all of Europe the current X3 is about big a car as is convenient. Our parking spaces are smaller than in the US, our car parks, town & village roads are much tighter than in the US. An X5, Q7 etc can be just that bit too wide to navigate easily between many residential gateposts. So for us, yes it's a relatively big car.
