Is there a Summer and All Season version of the 19" Bridgestone Alenza 001 RFT ?
Very confused at the moment about if I have summer or all season tires.
2020 x3 M40i came with 245/50/19 inch wheels and what I assumed were all season tires. B driving them from 3/2020 to 2/2021. Dealer changed all 4 in 2/2021 and replaced with what it came with. thread was low and fixing a transfer case issue. I am now to find out that they are summer tires. ugh. is there any way that they have an all season version of this tire? (Alenza 245/50/19 001 RFT 105W) If no, then i survived 2020 winter and 2021 winter with summer RFTs.. |

there is no alenza 001 that is all season. exact title of this thread: "Is there a Summer and All Season version of the 19" Bridgestone Alenza 001 RFT " my exact response: "nope, the alenza 001 is a summer tire. the all season version is the dueler." the OEM X3 all season bridgestone is the dueler. details matter. the op wasn't asking if there was an alenza all season. he was asking if there was an all season version of the Alenza 001

Although the title is asking about 19", checking on same for 20" the Tire Rack shows 0 RFT that they sell that are non-summer tires.
Screwed, if i'm to stick with 20" RFT... (without keeping separate tires for winter and summer, which i want to avoid keeping separate tires) Based on Tire Rack, all season 20" RFT is a non-starter. wtf...... I only found out (stupid of me) that Alenza 001 RFT is summer tires. Few occasions been driving in dry/wet 20 degrees F, possibly during tad lower temp, during NC winter... shite... https://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireS...erformance=ALL |

Although I don't recommend driving on summer tires in the winter, the Alenzas did very well even when the temp was below freezing. There was plenty of grip. I was careful not to drive in below freezing temps when there was rain, ice, snow on the road but in the dry they were just fine. |
