E90 rims on F25. Is it possible?
Hello,
I am changing my car from 3 series E90 for F25 LCI. On E90 for summer I have really nice wheels Styling 193 in ferric gray painting. I am wondering if this is good idea to use those rims (of course I will change tires to 245/50/18) on F25. I have 4 rims 8x18 ET 34 http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/193 Originally on F25 there is 8x18 ET43 so it means new wheels would be 9mm more to outside which is rather not a problem. However the X3 is more or less 300kg heavier. Should I consider this as a problem for rims? Has anyone tried to put 3 series rims on X3? Regards |

Shouldn't be a problem. I'm running wheels off a 2008 335ix on my '16 X3 as a winter setup. Wheels are identical except the spokes don't have the twist the '16 wheels do. The weight difference isn't that significant to be a problem.

I've recently installed exactly same rims - style 193, ferric gray - from my previous car on F25 and cannot be more happy.
However my setup is staggered, as it was in E90: 8" front, 8,5" rear. With all 4 245/50 tires fits perfect ! |
