Another big thanks to Nemesis Autosport for sourcing the MSS kit for us. I have always gone through them for my Audi parts and they were able to hook us up on the BMW side as well.

Impressions:
The MSS kit has been installed for about a week now. The ride quality is exactly what we wanted. Not too soft but not as stiff as the OE Competition suspension. It's currently sitting at roughly a 1-1/4" drop which has been ideal. The front may settle a little bit more to maintain he forward rake but the stance is damn near perfect. 12mm spacers are a must IMO if you are keeping the stock wheels. On the drive home, I constantly found myself staring in the review mirror thinking, man does that thing look fucking mean and aggressive! It's crazy just how much the look of the car can change with a drop and spacers.

Install:
We did not do the install ourselves, we figured it was best to let the pros do it. We took it to A&L Auto Body in Palatine, IL. They have been my go to shop when modding my S4 and they specialize in BMW's so it was a no brainer. Awesome group of guys that get the job done right without cleaning out your wallet. If you are in the Chicagoland area, I highly highly recommend checking them out.

Now for the before and after photos:

That looks sweet.
Glad I can help.

You're going to love it! I may lower it a little more in the upcoming weeks but I'm hesitant. It currently rides absolutely perfect so I don't want to hinder it

Super clean! The powdercoated OEM wheels was a great idea. I love the stock look but the black really contrasts perfectly with the body paint. Also the lowered look makes this X3M look even meaner. Beast!!

MSS

Hey, I have a 2020 X3M in the best color Donington Gray as well
I'm not happy with the harsh chattering/bouncy ride even in Comfort.
Did the MSS Urban springs help smooth out the suspension? Is it worth the trouble to change out the springs? is the car lowered or stock height? Thank you.

Yes, the MSS kit rides smoother in all driving modes compared to the OEM competition suspension. I didn't think Comfort was bouncy though on the stock suspension. Maybe check your tire pressure and drop them down a tad? However, I love how mine currently rides and have no complaints.

Is it worth the trouble? That sounds like it is dependent upon you. It was no trouble for me as I bought new springs, dropped the car off and had them installed. If that seems like a lot of trouble to you then I wouldn't get them!

Yes my car is lowered a little over an inch. I have pretty clear before and after photos in this thread showing the difference

How do you expect them to hold up in the winter?

I don't foresee any potential problems. This is my first time running with a Satin finish but I have no doubts Chicago winters will put that to the test haha.

Will keep this updated if I come across any findings!

Uhm, if your adjustment is almost maxed out, that's mean you are riding on bump stop.

I have a few threads showing still, the ride feels fine. I would think it would be pretty harsh if I was hitting the bump stops

I hope you are at correct setup.
When you are riding on the bump stop, you won't feel it until you hit small ripple on the road at low speed. That's when your car will bounce and see-saw-ing front to back.
Since bumpstop is acting like a high spring rate spring.
My initial install was 5mm thread gap, ride was perfectly fine on highway and normal street, until I was on imperfect road at 15-20mph.
And when I adjust it to 10mm thread gap, the ride height doesn't change. That even confirmed my suspicion. All the way up to 20mm thread gap, ride height doesn't change.

Interesting... How would it not change the height? I would say I'm probably at 5mm thread gap if not more.

I figured they worked like the ABT kit on my S4. Same style setup except mine definitely adjusts ride height based on the amount of threads.

Will definitely look into this tho, thanks for the heads up
