Thanks. I’ve been thinking of doing the same actually. I like the look of it being tucked in more. Also I want it a bit closer to the windshield to minimize the reflections. So you think going with the shorter extension is better?

Yes it’s extremely easy. All you gotta do is drill some holes and screw it in. Comes with instructions. It says to use 3 screws but I used 4. I’ll take some pics from underneath.
I do with that there was a way to tuck it in more to make it less visible but not possible with the design.
It looks a lot better than installing the plate mount. And I only use it when I go through tunnels in NYC. State police sucks and breaks balls about front plate. I haven’t had a front plate on any of my cars at least 10 years, never a ticket. But going through tunnels I’ve been pulled over twice. One warning and one ticket.

I got pulled over once in my 750 with a warning for no front plates, but since then nothing. I just like the idea that if I do get pull over for no front plates, then I'll activate the switch and let the officer know that I do have it. LOL

I would say 295s rear but depends on specific tire width at 295 I suppose. PS4S in 295 overhangs the rim some (I like that) and is very close to rubbing the inside wall, like no room to spare.

I don't know for sure. The 1/2" shorter length in theory would reduce the bowing I have, but my concern is on the length/position of the 2nd pivot point and if it clears the mirror mount hump (hope that makes sense LOL). I'd imagine it would still work, it would just impact how the overall vertical position height vs the windshield....

Thanks for the info, have you lowered your car with 295 setup?

where did you buy this? I have a curtain for my rear plates, I also reside in NY and front plates are a must but I don't rock them, haven't gottena ticket to date but really like this one.

I have. Lowered on H&R Springs and 12mm all around. Driven for about 700 miles or so on this setup and I fucking love it. It feels like a totally different vehicle.

Did you remove it or keep it in while you wrapped?

Now get to wrapping those side braces

Added AutoTecknic Matte Black shift paddles, MSS Urban Kit, Front painted reflectors, and 15mm H&R spacers front and rear. 1st two pics are before last two are after. Haven't really driven the car so I'm still expecting it to lower more once fully settled.

Got the package from iND today. Put in the rear reflector deletes. Will have to wait until more free time to do the fronts. I hate doing the fronts.

You'll be surprised how easy it is compared to F15 X5. (If you ever done one).

Ditto here and 100% agree. It by no means was a difficult thing, but definitely a pain in the ass for sure...but at least with the F80, we didn't have to deal with rivets either LOL
