its from a 10hz GPS and a mobile phone app. So, not as accurate as dragy but still gives an indication.

The Focus feels WAY faster. In BMW you look at speedo and go "0h, better slow down" but most you guys will know that already!

I have an M40i in blue and the colour has grown on me (I wanted black) to the point I would want another in blue if I had to change. I almost waited for the X3M and wish I had ... nowt to do with the quality of the M40i though which, after 6 months I love !

That color looks amazing! It almost looks different in each of the first three pictures you uploaded. It's like it morphs! So nice!

Added some mudflaps. Wanted something easily removable and that didnt risk damaging the paint (OEM X3 ones dont fit properly) and didnt look too rally style

So i bought a set of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4X-Wide-R...72.m2749.l2649

More functional than pretty, but on the Bloooo they dont stick out like a sore thumb

Pic 1: I did the rear left first and used 3 exisiting mountings and added a 4th for security. For both rear ones i used the mudguard at full width.

Pic 2: When i went to do the rear right, the shape of the wheel arch liner is different and there is a lump in there.....so i cut the mudflap in a more contoured shape and only used 3 fixings (i would have done both sides this way if i had thought it through more!)

Pic 3: fittted!

Pic 4: the front cant really retain the flaps at full width due to the shape of the inner arch. The 2 plastic retainers use existing fixings but the stainles bolt uses a L bracket to a bolt under the floor.....i forgot to take a picture of that.

Pic 5 and 6 are with them fitted. Now, because the rear flaps follow the curve of the arch liner, it makes them look like they are not fitted level.....but i sued a spirit level!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love it, was one of the colors we considered but we have so many blue BMWs so we went with a stealthy color. Enjoy it, I can honestly say I am pleased with mine after 6 months and 12000 miles.

Do you mind sharing which brand/model of dog guard? Looks great and adjustable. Thank you!

i just tried the same in my 400hp Focus RS

0-60mph 4.48s
1/4m 12.87s @ 111mph

Manual gearbox really lets it down as the 40-80mph runs in 3rd gear are virtually identical with FRS 0.1s quicker

Just clocked 5,000m so time for a little update......and i mean little as nothing to report really.

Car has done well on the towing duties although fuel economy drops to 15mpg! Finding mirrors that fit is a real PITA though.

Generally though, seems to have loosened up and the last 200miles is showing 25mpg and that includes half of that towing my motorbike trailer (nearly all at 60/70mph). Last 2000m is showing 20mpg.

Still havent decided on springs...quite fancy trying the Eibachs but not many reviews about (main factor is a bit more compliance).

Pulled the exhaust fuse and car sounds just fine for me - and the dogs!

Could you please link me to the boot liner? I found the website, but did you send in measurements, or did they already have a precut one?
