Hi all,

Can wheel and tire packages be bought at different prices like extended warranties? My brother just took ownership of 23’ X3M CP and the dealer was quoting $3k for a wheel and tire package which to me sounded unreasonably high. Curious if anyone has gotten a more reasonable price?

I know this doesn't directly answer your question but skip it. Only insure what you can't afford to lose: life, health, liability, home and auto. Everything else self insure.

OP, there are several packages available, but probably better to check the fourms for sale section to get something used or/unused at a better rate. Our bolt pattern matches many other audi/porsche/Mercs out there so plenty of options.

I think the original question needs to be restated for an opinion. Gfit I think assumed it was asking about insurance for the wheels and tires. I also think that is what is being asked. Thestimp reads it as wheels and tires packages being available. Not sure that's the case since the OP said they believe 3k is over priced for wheels and tires. The tires on the car are $1500.

You can negotiate it down to $750 which is what I did. I've already had a wheel and 2 tires replaced.

I paid $1200 for mine it was through Allstate though. I have 7k on the clock and have had both rear tires already replaced to the tune of over $800.

I think I paid ~$1800 and got the BMW warranty that included tires, wheels, windshield, key fob, and door dings.
