Hopefully that means the ones fitted for the x3 will also fit in the x3m

I fitted the "BMW RHD G01 X3 Front and Rear Rubber Floor Mats 51472450513" on my X3MC and they fitted fine (note these are the RHD version as I am in UK). I also ordered the Weathertech X3 boot (trunk) liner and that fits fine (note my X3MC does not have the raised floor due to not having the space saver spare tyre). Hope this helps.

I have the rubber mats from the regular X4 (dealer gave them to me at no charge). Good fit and a must have in winter months.

I've been told conflicting explanations. From what I gather: Rubber Mats are thicker, flexible and less of a spill wall. (More premium.) Liners. thinner more rigid (hard) more of a spill wall. Thoughts? |

Neither BMW or Weathertech have winter mats to fit the new X4 in the UK. That's weak...
Weathertech - it's a business decision on a small market...OK FU BMW - is just pissing on the UK market and offering very little product...OK FU |

That’s actually a pretty good comparison. I was trying to figure out what they felt like. At the end of the day.....if it keeps the carpets dry and clean....then I’m happy. Was hoping they would make M performance rubber mats for the x3m. Not feeling the regular x3 winter mats.

I’m curious what people think of OEM vs Weather Tech?
I used the OEM rubber mats on my E46 and they are thick but won’t hold much water. I’ve used Husky Liners on another truck and they are sturdy, but the spikes ruin the carpet. Tempted to go Weather Tech this time. |

BMW makes two different winter mats, low profile and higher profile (as in the pic above). The low profile IMO fits better than the high profile. They hold plenty, keeping in mind your use and the fact they will dry when the floor vents are blowing on them. If im getting in the vehicle with boots and heavy snow, I always clap them off after I sit down and swing my feet in. Functionally what I like best about the OEM mats is they are a soft rubber (as opposed to hard plastic like WT) which means they arent as slippery and provide better grip when wet. I have two X's, one in warm climate and one in seasonal climate. The OEM low profile rubber stay in the warm climate year-round because of the constant sand getting tracked in. They are much easier to vacuum off. The warm climate switch from carpet to low profile as the seasons change. Finally-The rubber OEM wear and look better season after season. They clean-up better than WT and dont look as worn. |
