Initial impressions are that yes it is stiff but that is to be expected for an M car, however, I don't find it much different in terms of comfort from the passive setup on the M140i. Unsure how much the tyres are making a difference in overall feel as mine is fitted with the Continental's as apposed to the Michelin's I've seen on other cars. I do think the car needs a bit more exhaust sound, you can hear its got the potential to sound amazing but it is muted by the filters. No pops/bangs/burbles as of yet, which is disappointing as my M140i did all of that. Really impressed by the overall handling of the car, but I have not pushed it at all, maybe being a bit too cautious during the running-in period, I even managed 26mpg on my commute earlier this week! Very unlikely to see above that I think. Most importantly, my better half is comfortable driving it and feels safer than in the M140i. Looking forward to seeing yours/hearing your thoughts.
Great write up. Good to hear your loving it so far. Don’t worry about the continentals these are great tyres in wet and dry maybe softer compound than the Michelin’s so may ware out slightly quicker. Talking about the better half I went with her to originally to look at a X5 m50d which I assumed she would like she thought the car was to big and pointed at the X3M that she liked. My wife thinks very logically stating the car is nice size easier to park than the X5 etc.. she has no idea it’s a M car with over 500 bhp I’m sure she will notice once she takes it out.

Great to see so many pulling the trigger on these great deals.

After months of 'waiting for the right time' to jump into a M car, the incredible deals that are available definitely seems like the right time!

Spec found, deposit down, finalising order in the morning.

X3M Competition
Sophisto Grey
Black Leather
Comfort Package
Pano Roof
Sun Protection Glass
Seat Heating, front and rear
Apple CarPlay
Enhanced Bluetooth with Wireless Charging

Just arrived into UK so hopefully pick it up in a few weeks.

Make a plan to visit PCWMods to get some sound for your exhaust.

Nice one, not seen many X3M Comps in that colour, be interesting to see how long it is from UK Port to dealer.

It's not as subdued as I was expecting, but it's such a shame we have to put up with the OPF. Still looking forward to mine though! You loving it?

Excellent choice. Similar to my order aside from the Carbon and mine is grey leather. Collecting at a similar timeframe too!

x3mcomp, does it come with the tyre mobility kit for repairing a puncture? I'll be driving mine a few hundred miles home from the dealer, not sure if I need to buy my own to take with or if it comes with one, given there's no spare wheel.

I’m sure you get a mobility kit if you did not opt for a spare. I will be surprised if they sent you away after buying a expensive car without one. I have never used one so no idea how well it works if a puncture happened.
