Ok. Thanks. I'm 100% certain mine is the torsion strut issue that you originally posted about. My sales guy sent me a screen shot of the stop sale.

I'm surprised they aren't telling you what was wrong and fixed since they have to know. I hope yours was the same issue because that means there is hope for me.

Enjoy your new ride!

It's finally here!!! A month later than scheduled, the truck dropped it off this afternoon. I was able to grab a quick picture and sit in it. Still waiting on paperwork and needs to go through PDI etc. tartufo looked great. Glad I optioned it. Also managed to luck out and get Michelins. Hope to pick up on Friday.

Why did this thread die? Is it because of the model year changeover? Are there no allocations for May for 2022?

still hoping I can snag an allocation before the switch over to 2023. Put in an order mid April and was told most likely June allocation but they'd try for a May

Are you guys still marking up over MSRP?

When is the model changeover from ‘22 to ‘23? Any reason not to wait for ‘23 designation if you’re just now seriously entering the market?

don't know how true this is but my CA made it sound like the switch over is in July and if you wanted a 23 it wouldn't be delivered until early Fall. Didn't have much on the difference between the model years

It's possible that, the longer you wait, the chances will be higher that features/options will be affected by chip shortages.

Read in a German forum that, at least for non-M models, the kick to open boot feature has apparently been cancelled due to shortage.

I think I read in bulletins that the year model change will be after May.

My question is, I was a week 21 build and was in 112 status for two weeks and suddenly was put into 105 "no production week available "

: I know it's because of supply/part shortages but is anybody experiencing this?
Or does anybody know what it's for?

Before you tell me to call my client advisor. I am my client advisor lol.

Lmao! The same thing happened to a few customers of ours. My client's build week is constantly changing back and forth

Does “fair deal” imply there is discount from MSRP?
Just curious…

Check the Atlanta metro area. A dealer outside Atlanta had an X3 M allocation 2 weeks ago at MSRP and are honoring discounts like previous BMW owner and military discounts. Bad enough some dealer are charging over MSRP but a rate hike on top just adds insult to injury IMO. “ I can sell you this X3 for 3.99% but if you want an X3 M the rate is 4.9%”.

I got $750 loyalty, $1,000 bmw apr credit, $500 UDE voucher credit (they wouldn't give the full $1,000 since $500 is from the dealer) and 2.49% apr locked from February but they let me pick the March residual for the bmw select balloon. I was pretty annoyed at the entire experience but I think all of that made up for it considering the current market being what it is.

Mine arrived today at dealer. 2+ weeks ahead of schedule. They won't honor BMW financial 1.9% APR from late January order date. Telling me it is 4% now. Not sure if they are playing games or true. Now dealing with credit unions and brokers to get 2.25% APR which seems lowest.
Lucked out with Michelin tires though. Part of me wants to go in and write a check from HELOC at 2.75%(adjustable).

Can complaining to BMW Financial work? Experts who know, how long do I have to find financing?

The buy rate now is in fact 3.49% for 60 months and 3.99% for 72. They would want you to pick it up before the month ends.
