Part of the value of this package is that everything is already assembled.

You said the suspension was better controlled after going from the stock shocks with H&Rs to Konis - is it firmer now? Softer? Less rebound, or just quicker?

By their nature, lowering springs are stiffer in order to be able to work with the same shocks (struts) but with less travel.

The valving (compression and rebound) on the FSDs do a much better job controlling the spring and vehicle. The stock shocks would crash and get into the bump stops much quicker over bad pavement or uneven transitions on the freeway.

The stock x3 sport suspension felt disconnected or floating, the Konis with H&R is more in line with a sport activity vehicle.

Compared to next gen, not as firm as the X3 M comp in comfort mode, a little more than an X3 M40i

How does this work with being able to select comfort, or sport suspension settings?

These are not for vehicles equipped with DHP, dynamic handling package. They physically would mount and work just fine but I’d assume you’d like to retain your adjustable settings.
