Sport Display not accurate
I just installed this on my G01 X3 sdrive30i:
https://www.dinancars.com/product/d4...eries=&mid=X3/ I noticed that the sport display torque tops at 260 and hp in 240. Is there a limit coded on that? I have OBDLink with the torque app on android configured and there the hp/tq/boost display shows around 275 tq on 91 oct gas. Baseline in hot weather (88 F) was 218 hp and 231 tq at 18.2 psi boost. Now with Dinan was 248 hp, 275 tq at 22.5 psi boost. So sport display is not reading real measurement. |

The torque/power measurement from the car is calculated and estimated from several engine/transmission parameters, not directly measured. It is impossible to measure the torque of a system from inside the system. So these gauges are designed to be more of a 'fun' element than a real performance measurement.
If the stock config maxes out at 260/240 then its entirely plausible that the gauges are hard-coded that way. |

Yes. You actually do have to code them to properly display your current HP. Call BPMSport for this. Ask for Mike. He can remotely do this for you. As well as tune your 30i.....Mine is tuned and it's AMAZING. Dinan is good, but it's a piggy back. Flash tunes are always better and smoother. I'm currently doing 305HP/358TQ in my 30i.
