Phytonic Blue
Hi All
I'm just wondering how many of you X3M/X4M owners have a Phytonic Blue car. I collect mine on Friday and my only real concession for my order was the colour and I'm just looking for owners opinions on how they find the colour? I have only owned one previous blue car and it was many years ago. Cheer Steven |

Not an owner but I think Phytonic Blue looks great in the photos of the X3M. Almost Q car with the black grille.
Looking forward to seeing pictures of your car in due course. |

I’m really impressed with the colour. I think it works really well with the lines on the X3M. As soon as I saw it in the showroom I was sold on it. Agree that it is a bit Q car. It looks great with the contrast of Adelaide interior with orange red accents. The metallic colour really pops in the sun (so twice a year) and also looks good in crap weather - has a nice deep shine to it. Picked mine up just over a week ago and I’ll get some pics up when the rain stops at some point.

I like the blue, my only issue with it is that it's not a M colour ie a colour only on M cars.
Being picky though as I love black too.

I love blue cars, especially BMW blues; they have done some corkers on M cars. I was going for Phytonic but reeled back in when I saw how dark it looked. In the sunshine I think it would be lovely but it was a touch too dark for me. I went for Donington Grey in the end as I think it is best suited to the cars, but to be honest, the cars are so good that colour is a minor consideration. Blue, Grey, White, they all look special.

My wife had a Phytonic Blue M40i. Yesterday we went shopping for a new X3M. She said the blue did not do as much for her this time around (go figure) and she ended up really liking the black with Shakhir orange (red) interior (go figure again.... LOL ). So we traded her M40i on the new X3MC in that color combo.
The blue was very nice, though, that is for sure. Especially the Comp version they had with the blacked out trim.
