Steering Wheel Wrap (non M wheel)

After a long evening of perusing the interwebs, I am contemplating a steering wheel wrap from AliExpress. I do not have the M sport wheel and really don't want anything too crazy/tacky with M stripes all over it. Thoughts on these options?

I hear they can be challenging to keep clean but what are the other reasons not to go with alcantara/suede?

The issue has more to do with age and their durability. No matter how much you try to keep it clean it will break down due to the oils and constant use and fuzzes up and eventually breaks away.

It feels nice and premium for a very short period of time...then it just feels...gross.

Most of us swapped out to leather steering wheels.

I'd avoid the wrap and try to find an inexpensive m-sport wheel to swap. They are getting more affordable compared with a year or two ago.

I have never used a wrap but I have seen some great samples out there. Maybe not for my non-M sport wheel but I have seen some good things.

I hate my non-sport. I dont mind the design of the non but I hate the thickness compared. I would love to know if the thickness grows at all after.

Based on the the recommendations I am going with a leather wrap to hopefully gain some thickness. The M swap still will cost me close to $1k and just can't justify that.
