It's odd. Except for the newly introduced 4, every other model's 2021 guides were published other than the X3 and X4.

I am also looking for the 2021 X3 and it's my top choice at the moment. My friends told me Audi Q5 will be refreshed for 2021, also Volvo XC60 is priced very aggressive.. also with Toyota Venza's beauty...etc The 2021 X3 better be very good!

Don’t get your hopes up high. The change is likely to be a modified grill or headlight or something like that. 2021 is NOT the year the X3 gets totally overhauled. You’ll have to wait 3 more years for that.

Was in formed today that all 2020 orders had been cancelled and they are transitioning to 2021 builds. We were in the process of special ordering a 2020 X4 M40i for the wife. Waiting to hear back on additional info.

I could see them using COVID-19 as force majeure to facilitate some kind of financially beneficial transition from MY20 to MY21 ahead of schedule... But that's just the conspiracy side of my brain. And maybe a little of the business side...

Oddly enough, the dealer said they would still honor the same price we finalized on and switch the order to a 2021. Probably just means we were overpaying for a 2020. Lol

I was also told by a dealer in Texas no more 2020 orders.

I have ordered my M40d some months ago. I have production scheduled by week 35 and delivery by week 44. Do you know if they will shift my MY2020 order to new mild hybrid technology and motor with new features?

That's good to hear I guess. I was thinking more supply chain, though.

Hello, I am a new member here, and am in the market for either a X3e (hybrid) or X3x. Was curious about the handling/driving performance on X3e when it's using gas mode only. I understand the combined horsepower on the X3e is more powerful than the standard X3x. I was just curious once the battery runs out, would the horse power on the X3e be significantly 'reduced' as a result, hence affecting the driving/performance? I tried to research online but there is not a lot of info on such topic. I inquired with a sales rep and he didn't seem to really have a clear answer to this. But he said that the performance shall be same regardless of whether it's using gas/battery because the torque is the main factor in determining the speed/performance on the x3e... Do you think there is a big difference when driving only with gas (battery off) vs when it's in a combined mode, thanks!

This is getting ridiculous. It is July 21 and the order/price guides haven’t been released for the X3 2021 models. All other model BMW order/price guides were released a while ago.

It “must” be because BMW is planning something REALLY REALLY BIG for the 2021 model, right? We’re all going to be surprised and hit the floor when its released!... eh probably not. :-(

In EU price guides where released some weeks ago and there is no big changes, except engine improvements and 48V system.

I'm in Germany and have my order in for a 2021 x3 U.S. spec. The ordering/pricing guide came out last Thursday but I haven't seen any updates online yet. I'm waiting on my vin number and was told it should be any day now. The only changes I can confirm are the driving assistance is standard now, acoustic glass is no longer an option and remote engine start is still not available. Don't understand why the remote start is still MIA for the x3 but available for the 330.

Good info, thanks. BMWNA does not always get the exact same things though but likely not too many changes.

How do those PDF order/pricing guides make to this forum? Does someone "leak" them from a dealer? Or are they public by BMWNA?

Dullimite, why/how are you getting a U.S. spec X3? Are you in the USA military? Is the acoustical glass not an option because they made it a standard feature, or is it just discontinued? That would stink if it is discontinued, because that seems to be a feature unanimously enjoyed by everyone who has it, on this forum. For $150 it seems like a no-brainer feature to have.
