I purchased this X3 20d recently, and I made this video below, since I can hear a whining noise at around 2k rpm.

I checked for any issues by the motor area and it seems the same as my other X3 20d N47 (2013), even upon acceleration.

I ran a check with ELM327 and there were no detected faults. Even the test drive was pretty good, except for this slight whining noise upon acceleration.

Do you have any idea as to what this could be? I read from others that it could be an issue with the turbo.

The car has a "warranty" of 1 year on major parts, such as motor and transmission, so if it is something relating to this, I would ask the dealer to repair it.
