High Oil Consumption

I have an 07' X3 with 153,000 miles. I changed the oil back in late August with Liqui-Moly 5w40. Today, I changed the oil again after roughly 4,500 miles. I drained out a little more than 5 quarts. When I filled in August, I put in 6.9 quarts meaning I lost about 2 quarts in 4,500 miles. I know BMWs take on oil consumption and I've seen some other opinions. I have no leaks, engine bay and belly pan are clean. Nothing around the oil pan gasket (from what I can see), valve cover gasket, oil filter housing, etc.

Is that amount in consumption plausible? I check the oil level via the dash regularly. Its been at the halfway point on the range for a few weeks now.

2010 X3

I'm new out here but have an E83 since new. 168K on it, I've had the gaskets all changed since they were leaking over the years.
No current leaks but I've had to top up with a litre between oil changes recently.
