OK, so after my dilemma last week with one of the tires getting a piece of metal lodged in it upon delivery to the dealership, I had to wait to until today for my delivery.

However, yesterday evening, I spent several hours searching for the title for my trade in, only to find out that I never received it, vehicle was paid off in December 2020.

I know, my bad waiting until the last minute to start looking for it, but that's how I roll.

So, I message my sales rep and he checks into further. Come to find out, the finance company never released the lien on the vehicle. WTF?!?!? So, I have to rush around today in between work meetings (crazy, but I do need to actually pay for this thing) and have to talk with 5 different customer service folks before someone actually is able to help me get a lien release letter sent to the dealership. So frustrating that things could be resolved in a simpler manner. But, it was finally resolved and I was able to take it home.

Anyway, here is a quick little video of the unveil and walk around (not as impressive as that Mass BMW dealer--BGM introduction that was shared here) but I'm no expert videographer.

The sound was soooo nice to hear when I was able to start it up and pull out of the dealership. My son was very jealous of the new ride, but he can get his own soon enough. This is dad's toy.

Oh, did I mention, I LOVE this color in person. It is so much nicer than the pictures.

Looking forward to making some updates in the coming weeks:
--New Michelin PS AS 4s (255/40/21, 295/35/21) were delivered today.
--Waiting on Vossen HF-2s to be delivered (2-3 weeks out) so I can mount the new tires and have them swapped out for the stock wheels/tires.
--Scheduling XPEL PPF and ceramic for early September; its the earliest date available from the shop near me.
--Then we'll see what's on deck after that.

The color that I would pick if I an going LCI.
I don't understand why BMW didn't offer it on the pre-LCI.

Yeah, we had the same reveal experience with my wife's X7 (I didn't catch it on video), so I wanted to be sure to capture it this time around.

Congratulations! That's pretty close to what I have currently being built. I went non-competition, but the same color and interior.

Wow .. what a beauty , thanks for sharing KodiakEd.. That has to be the all time best looking BMW and colour combo ever . I am coming from a somewhat biased perspective though , as I have the very same on order for a Oct / Nov delivery.
