Is it possible to have rear fog lights for US/Can specs G01 without light switch modification?
One of the options: Fog Lights with Parking Lights or High Beams - what does it mean? |

The option means that if you have the fog lights on, they remain on when you turn on the parking lights or high beams instead of automatically switching off.

I know not. It may be possible to have some kind of harness to pair them. Personally, I would want a more finished look and be able to control separately. I also do not use my fogs that often.

I like the fog lamps on my Sierra XR4ti - they could be active without low beams and really worked. Now fog lights are just good at very low speed to illuminate parking lots! So I do not miss them on my M3. Why would you have high beams and fog lights? No idea. Certainly not for fog. Maybe they attract more deer! (I know it is illegal to hunt with lights). But the car from the factory turns off the fog lights when the high beams are active. Makes sense to me. This code would undo that restriction. |

Thanks for the info. I am really hoping to have the anti-dazzle function enabled. I also would like to have the rear fog lamps and I am willing to pay for the switch. Did that on my M3.

My build has S8TRA - "decoding supplementary functions" Any ideas on what might have been decoded?
It also has S5APA which is decoding of the anti-glare high beam assist (high beam assist is active). That should be possible to code. |
