Any week 36 X3 M40 folks gone to production yet?

Also, I tried to see if the dealer parts dept would match the BMW Shop UK 20% discounted price for winter wheels/tyres (saving £530), but they would only offer 10% (plus free storage/swap over - worth £65), so still a £200 worse deal. Will see if the salesman can have any influence in them matching the price, as I'd prefer to pick up with those wheels already on.

Similar here.👍 Dealer rang me Thursday to say pick up on 6th, but probably a couple of days before and maybe even earlier as I'm taking it with the protection still on.

Collected the car today. Absolutely love it and fantastic service from TRL at Berry BMW.

Quick question to current owners - does the car animation in iDrive 7 match your car exactly for spec?

The colour is correct on mine but the car looks like a bog tandard X3. No big deal but I thought the actual animations were supposed to match the exact car in iDrive 7.

Mine doesn't match...and what's worse in the camera views (3D view) its a silver car!

If you have the M Sport Plus pack and didn't deselect Exterior High Gloss Shadowline then yes, they are.

And of you do "deselect Extended High Gloss Shadowline" with the M-Sport Plus Package, then everything (including Side Wing Mirror covers) reverts back to Cerium

Yep, had a message from my dealer this evening to say my car is in the country and due with him early next week...

Thanks. It has indeed been a very long couple of months since ordering mid-September, not least while tracking the boat with the car on it as it sailed up the coast of Africa and Europe.

Ironically it now feels like there's hardly any time to sort out all the bits and pieces that I've been leaving until nearer delivery... handing back my current car, insurance, GAP, winter wheels, dashcam, etc. Lots to do, but glad I can finally start booking these things!

Whilst i think of it, I must remember to cancel the daily position alerts for the Grand Aurora now... I've somehow lost interest in that boat!

Just had a call from dealer. Offloaded from the Grand Aurora, registered today and they are expecting Thursday. 👍

Mine was ordered week 39, built week 41 and sat at port in SA for about 2 weeks before departing on Grand Aurora. Should be delivered this week (48) after original estimate of week 50. Got reg no today. Hope this helps.
