Powder coating wheels question
In a couple of weeks I'm going to have my wheels powder coated gloss black. What is the best way to replace the small M emblem on the wheels afterwards?

The PC biz I use has them in stock and just charged me an extra $20 or something close to that for 4 new ones.... Or he said he could attempt to take the old off and put back on after PCing them (for no charge). I said, "just charge me for some new ones."

There's a thread on here somewhere about someone who had powder-coated wheels from the dealership and they apparently caused some bat-shit weird problems with his brakes. You might want to do a search just in case. BTW- it didn't make sense to me either but it took the OP on the other thread a lot of misery to get it sorted.

I also just ordered a whole set of brand new emblems to go on the wheels. I didn't know it was that easy |

This.... as long as the mating surfaces are good/clean/true, I couldn't understand why there would be a problem. Anyway, I hope you're spared any issues.

You simply purchase OEM badges and stick them back on, that’s what I did after powder coating my wheels.
