X3 G01 LCI headlight question

Hi,

I noticed the inner (grill side) led doesn't emit light in low beam while in high beam, it does. Would enabling the anti dazzling function through coding going to make the inner light lit up in low beam? Any ideas? Thank you.

The LCI high beam anti dazzle masking works when auto high beam is active. So, it doesn’t work when auto high beam isn’t activated, such as just using normal low beam headlights. The inner most light module in the headlight unit is the cornering light, and I assume you do t mean this.

The auto high beam anti dazzle masking also only works when certain criteria is met. Not sure how the function of coded version compares to the actual BMW activated version in operation.

The short answer, no. I coded on anti dazzle and they don’t illuminate with low beams. And actually it does… just a very dim light.
