Agreed! Just had 11/2019 update done last week.. blinker is almost obnoxiously loud now.
Indeed; having read this thread I made sure I listened carefully to the (very soft) blinker sound before handing over to dealer for upgrade today. 6 hours later and after a successful upgrade (which enabled Remote 3D view btw), the very loud sound/noise is making up for lost time

Does anyone know where in the coding we could find the blinker volume. Had the update done and sure enough it's louder.

I do want to point out the loaner x5 I had was just as loud as my x3 is after updating.

Whoever wants to try, I found in DKOMBI2, 3001 KI parameter, blinker_volume. Didn't try myself.

Right but it asks for data - it’s not a simple active or not active code.

I have no idea how I never heard it before but now I cant seem to unhear it, at every single press of the turn signal.
I did have the November 2019 Software update done recently for the Remote View.
So I dont know if it the correct function now which changed from the software update. Or was it some kind of option that I coded by mistake in Bimmercode?
I have ID7 with the livecockpit.
2020 owners share your comments.

Sorry to go off topic but those don't look like the stock paddle shifters on an M40i. Care to share your mod?
Those are just extensions which likely are attached via some 3m tape.

I picked up my 2020 for the first time on Monday and the blinker volume is just across the line of too loud--I probably can ignore it, but it seems a bit excessive. Feels like it's coming from the stereo.

Annoying blink volume: Sounds plastic and cheap.

I recently got updated to 21-03 and have noticed that my loud ass blinkers aren't quite as obnoxious now. I can't say for sure that it happened right when I got the update, but I noticed it pretty soon after the update. Has anyone else received this update and noticed reduced blinker volume? Or perhaps I am just going deaf.

What brand of blinker fluid do you use?

Mine keep going out.
