My question is, how essential is the pan roof? I have it on my current car and the little man moans about the sun in his eyes. Any of you owners not specced it and wish you had ordered it and vice versa?

You'll need to add more than just the 21's to get them, they're only available as part of the M Sport Plus pack.

As for pano roof, I specifically avoided it, they add road/wind/rain noise to the cabin, more heat in summer, more weight, higher centre of gravity, plus the reports of creaks and rattles, and of course the chance of it exploding and filling the cabin with glass which does happen sometimes. Plus, only your passengers get to look out of it!

Dick Lovett were happy to add those, privacy glass and the pan roof and it came to £529 a month, so not a lot, it's just that £500 a month is mentally too much. £499 on the other hand lol

Partly why I paid a bit more on deposit to get under the £500 p/m. Initially got to £509, I said under £500 you have a deal...they did 😂

You won't regret it - you have the option of closing the blinds, have just on tilt, opening the blind to let a shit load of light in (on these dingy UK days ;-) and opening up in summer for some breeze.

Personally I wouldn't be without mine.

Thanks all for your help. I gave Andrew a shout and I have got a great deal from him. M40i carbon black, extended shadow line, 21inch alloys, oyster interior and the all important pan roof
