It's hard to say no at those prices lol. I have about £1200 to get out of my current PCH deal. What are the chances they would clear that for me in the deal, I know they are desperate to shift tin at the moment!!

They will probably happily include that in deal, if only adding into finance, as plenty to play with with the discounts on offer

8k negative equity and monthly payments to go up by £70 per month?

Not for me.

Just enjoy the great car you have now, then consider the X3M in 28ish months time when you can VT.

I'm just seeing what offers are about
Seems they are trying to shift numbers
For some reasons,it's a brand new model with shit hot deals
These are better than the 40i deal I got in March
And I thought that was good
My 40i was a custom order with my favourite combination
I don't really want to spend and extra few £s
It might be the case I just get a remap and save a few notes
But let's see if there a deal to be had

This.

If I was going to spend £8k I'd get either an Alfa Stelvio Q or GLC 63 ... both of which are better options vs X3M imo.

There will always be deals. And more deals that beat previous deals. Just enjoy the great car you have.

TRL Deals has posted his full list of stock on BabyBMW. Looks like all the base cars are gone at 549 in and 549/m, but now most cars are 2-3k in and 549/m

Dick Lovett is holding price until end of December, although the car has to be registered by then too, originally it quoted registered before march 2020, but they soon changed it once I pointed it out!! Took a screen shot just in case it comes in handy!!

Test drove one today thinking in would get rid of f31 / 335d & Focus RS

Focus felt faster and more involved (although for sure slower). The car was too hard for me and the constant changing of gear as it cant find the low down torque was a pain. The Tech is impressive. Like about, the only deals were £679.

Salesman then threw me the keys to the X3M40i and it was SOOOOOOO much better. Within 5mile, it felt like the car was mine - just fitted perfect. I would still like to try the G21 m340i, but must say was REALLY impressed with the X3

Some of those deals are much better than others. Looking at it the best is around just north of £21.5k discount from list price. The GFV is marginally better than those I saw last week.

Have an X3 M40i lined up for 24h test tomorrow, so will let you know what I think. Drove an X4 30d on standard M Sport suspension today and was pretty impressed with composure vs. my 330i which is significantly more skittish over broken surfaces. I’ll have the opportunity to push the M40i over a variety of fast/twisty/poor surfaces tomorrow so will be interesting to see how it stacks against my F31.... night and day I suspect 😉

Joe Achilles has done a video (sorry no link) comparing his mates XM40i to the X3M and in the end he preferred his own XM40i due to the harshness of the X3M.
Agreed, also the XM cars in general look the most like their regular series sibling with no CF roof or flared wheel arches. It just insn't obvious enough that its a full M.

Good to hear the comparison!

They are good all rounder cars if you are after a SUV sized car.

Didn't try the X3M - even on a basic model monthlies plus extra fuel & insurance was a bit more than I was comfortable with. And the sales guy said the suspension is track focused and too harsh for our roads. I think the M40i will have more than enough performance but with the hard edges of the full fat M sanded off....
