HUGE thanks to Ryan@IND for all of the help with the gloss black replacement parts to complete the full cerium delete, complete with new badging and roundels. Need to finish off the center caps, and also valve stems. Having her ceramic'd and tinted in a couple of weeks. Then she is good to go for a bit and will be exactly how I pictured her.

Very cool! Super interested in what this costs and if it causes any bad rattles

I used vinyl wrap over the reflectors, handles and side skirts.

Would definitely get these decals if it didn't have the M performance logo on it. I like the contract especially on a white vehicle.

Against my better judgment, as well as being lazy, I went to the local "hand car wash" and this is how I was delivered my X3. They denied it happened there of course. As most of you are I'm sure, I am very aware of the shape my cars are in at all times. We all look back at our cars whenever we walk away from them😊 so I am positive this happened at the wash. Looks like to me they used a pressure washer. So I have ordered a replacement and look forward to reapplying these stripes. Not fun. Guess I will not be going to this wash anymore! Lesson learned. 🙁

You know nothing Jon Snow (foam)

First day it hasn’t been dark/wet/freezing/howling gale/all of the above. Still not dry enough for a full decontamination, claying and polish so a wash and wheel clean will have to do. Only managed to get a bit of wheel wax on the DC sections before the rain came on again

Will have to wait & see if I get a couple of dry days over the holidays

bolted on four new Good Year Eagle Exhilarates on the M40i.

https://www.goodyear.com/en-US/tires/eagle-exhilarate

OEM Bridgestone Dueller runflats lasted 39,000 miles. The last 10,000 miles resulted in increased road noise and ride harshness.

It just so happened I drove home after having the tires installed in a light snow squall heading up Rte 95 north to Portsmouth.

The new Good Years are as reviewed.

Quiet, softer ride than run flats and very good in the slop so far.

Yeah,
I know... the car is dirty. The weather is shit with temps above freezing point on snowy and salted roads. Anyway, whats new today is the 20" 699M rims with new winter tires. I also got a new case for the regular key, it looks nice but it's not optimal if you for some reason want to flip the key out to reach any of the buttons.

Tax law changes in Illinois so there is some incentive to flip the car before January 1st,

Trade in credit capped at 10k,

I pay 9.5 percent tax so my 45k x4 is leaving 3.5 k on that table after January 1st

Problem is that lot options are pretty poor

Lol.

If you trade in 100k car and buy 100k car you pay zero tax.

On January 1st if you trade in 100k car and buy 100k car . Then I have to pay tax on 90k.

That's an extra 8,500 .
