I see. I got 19" stock wheels so maybe they only configure iDrive for whatever BMW offers based on your original configuration.

Will the BMW hub caps fit? As that would finish off nicely

Most aftermarket wheels don't fit the BMW centre caps like the Autec Kitano's, and they also need centring rings.

I suppose there are other options like stickers/badges that stick on hub

Quite a few I looked at had OEM sizing, but most much more pricey than the Kitano's.

Mine are being fitted 1st thing tomorrow

They’re both 68mm mate, you won’t find 66mm anywhere.

I don't have sensors in my 20" winter wheels and they have worked fine all last season. With and without cruise control

just picked up an m40i today. It had 20inch summers on it and as soon as I got home I put on a 19 inch winter setup I ordered from tire rack.

MD26 wheels with pirelli sottozero 245/50/19 tires
(I have these on my 340 so I figured they would work well for the x3 and they were recommended by tirerack... Side note, on my 340 I have 225/40 up front and they are 0 for 11 surviving pot holes. 245/50 should be a lot better for that, right??)

Anyway. went into tire settings to get them setup and when I switched the profile from summer to winter all the options for tire sizes disappeared. Only "Other".... Any idea on why that is? Everyone else seems to have tire size options available to them.

66mm? That's an odd size to find. I chose aftermarket wheels in stock size with 56mm caps, and eventually found these
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I prefer the black and white anyway, and they fit perfectly.

I have been running the new winter setup without sensors for a few weeks now, and the only pain is having to dismiss the notice every time I start the car, and ignoring the warning symbol on the display. I had noticed the speedo seemed to be high, so I checked the speed with a speedometer app (calibrated to my Q5) and the X4 is consistently 5 or 6 kmh high. Not a lot, but annoying. I will have to reassess it when the summer wheels go back on, but is this normal?

Do you have TPMS sensors in your winter wheels?

Switched mine to Winter setup - 19" Orbit Grey 698M.
Dealer inflated tires up to 2.8 bars - isn't it too much?

Looks great in orbit grey!

Yes 2.8 is too high, best to set it to whatever the idrive tells you.
