The problem with these flexible architectures is that you have to reserve space for the ICE/Fuel cell instead of getting the best
wheelbase and short overhangs.
I think that's maybe cheap to produce (optimal workload of the plants), but from the technical point of view a bad compromise. With the i4 for example we get a senseless long car with the interior space of an ICE/Fuel cell car.

I tought by now there should have been an electric and hybrid 3 and 5 series and. And by now I mean 3-4 years ago.
So..... no bmw you're way to late I think

Fully electrify era hasn't even started yet,
Other brands are just teasing and get those buyers to share for their R&D expenses now.
