All black X4 M40i

Picked this up two weeks ago, traded in my 2016 M135i and so far very impressed!

Spec
X4 M40i
Black Sapphire
Black with red stitch Ver
Comfort pack
M Sport plus pack
Tech plus pack
Model trim deletion
Galvanic controls
Park assist plus

Bit slow on the mods while waiting on bits but lists as follows

Front windows tinted- done
Front lights tinted- done
Black MP grille- done
Springs- mid Jan
Remus exhaust- no eta as yet
Rear boot lip spoiler- no idea of any producers as yet so might have to get a custom one made or one adapted to fit!

Hoping with the X4M comes more MP Parts (fingers crossed)
Prior to collection and protection

Front windows lightly tinted

Headlights and fogs having light tint applied later this month and then just waiting on the MP grills and Remus exhaust

I might do a 25mm drop but unsure on this at the moment

Heard from tuning company my Remus quad pipes are due very soon

Still undecided on the 25mm drop all round, anyone running a lowered X4/X3?

The body style is too aggressive for such a huge wheel gap!
For sure it will look better with a drop... and maybe some spacers 😉

So in need of the MP grills now!

On a side note anyone excited about the Remus exhaust some bad news as the current update is they have pulled it for now!
Not sure if it’s due to the ACS connection or the fact of the design was prior to the PPF and an updated designed is needed

It’s light tint film, my brother has it on his 5 series and looks good some might say it’s a little boy racer type look but after looking at a couple of RRS SVR’s with tinted headlights I liked the idea.

I’ll be honest I’m not totally sold on the look at the moment but will wait for the black grills before deciding if it’s staying or not.

crazy coincidence, I drive the same m40i same color {left hand drive though} and you took that pic right in front of a ford transit which I also drive {though my transit is dark gray}, and you're on the other side of the world

How much of an impact does the tint have on headlight performance?

Obviously it must have some impact but I can’t notice any difference with my eyes!

It’s Xpel headlight film so you should be able to find tech data for it.

MP grills need to hurry up... Springs/spacers hopefully by months end so for now treated it to new plates
