This isn't convenient for those on the other side of the pond, but it does show brands and models you might find from a local source.

There clearly are some that fit, probably
Mainly down to ET. BMW 18”s have an ET of 22, whereas the 19”s are 30/32.

If I had a local place I could go to to try some I would do so, but not really feasible.

Even chatted to someone on Tirerack and they said no
Problem, but any UK company I have spoken to said NO CHANCE.

Thanks I did see this earlier when in their site. And see that for the 18”s, the smallest offset is 38, but most are 40. That is why they will fit and clear calipers

I think you’ve got it the wrong way around, the larger the offset, the closer the wheel is to the brake caliper.

Many source confirm Replika R198 18" will fit. My neighbor also using one for his 2018 M40i.

I just ordered Replika R198 but 19", because found a deal is same price as 18". Just need to use 245/50/19 tires, which I ordered PA5.
Total package with TPMS and installation is CAD$2700 after tax.

ToTo Tire.
First time buying from them, but seem they have tons of good review.
We firm up the deal, but need to go pay a deposit and just go install when the weather turn cold
There are many Rims options, I just pick Replika R198 19" For another $250 or so more, you can have GTS G505.

My price out the door is $2,675.84. I think you can get $100 off this price.
I just choice to have first season of storage free instead of $100 early bird discount.

Call them and ask for Leon. Tell him Wilson refer you.
I am trying to setup some relationship with this store as the tire place I usually go to really sucks now, so need to find a new place.

You are spot on, just checked willcheckfit.com. So clearly I am talking nonsense (not unusual)

Can only then put it down to the spoke patterns why some fit. A mate who has the 19"'s as a winter setup says they don't clear the calipers by much at all.

Anyway, I am going to stick to 19"s

Probably best.

I think it's down to the design of the barrel of the wheels.

So I have gone with these ones (Comes with Pirelli Sottozero 3 R/F Tyres):

My local dealer has given me a pretty decent discount - £2380 all in (incl fitting, and delivery of summers back to me - choosing not to store them @ cost of £120 p/y, as will be ceramic coating the summers over the winter).

Actual order of wheels will only go in toewards the end of October, ready for fitting probably Early November, depending on weather.

Correction, his name is Neil, not Leon. My mistake

That’s not bad for oem, but my winter wheels and tyres did cost around half that.

I got the Replika R198, which look VERY VERY close to your RTX.
The differ is R198 is 25 offset.

I think the factory BMW 19" is 19X8, 30 offset. So 19X8.5,35 offset fit without issue?

Yes, well aware Non OEM can be a lot cheaper, unfortunately the only ones I liked (apart from OEM I chose) were wheels such as BBS, Ispiri etc, so cost is very close, and often more (Some BBS £1650 just for alloys).

Personal preference, but prefer to stick to OEM.

And the OEM ones from Germany (mainly 691's) I wasn't a massive fan of, and price after shipping was so close anyway.

Dude - I guarantee when/if it snows you will be finding the steep hill to go up. Just because you can. With winters on this thing is a beast. It defies logic :-)
