Dials protective film?
Anyone else noticed what looks like protective film on the speedometer dials? Not sure if dealer just missed removing it when they done the prep or not but cant see a clear edge to pick it off. However I have noticed wee bubbles as if something/protective film is stuck on.
Would need to maybe need to use bit of sticky tape to pull it off, still a good while away from run in service or a would just get dealer to check it.

First picture is showing like an oil mark if you touch it which does not happen on i drive screen and i guess its same sort of surface.
Second pic is showing the bubble like effect, looks like when you put screen cover on a phone but has a bit of dirt under it. Its only because i cant see an edge round the silver dials or edge of screen, if its a protective cover i would doubt they got fit that good.

The protective covering is pretty obvious, it has a large red vertical stripe on it. Pull it and it all comes off... Not sure what protective covering the OP is talking about.

That’s red stripe is exactly what i have seen. So my question was/is based around is that the only protective film? as mine does not have the red strip that has been taken off, so a guess i just have a poor quality finish on dials then as it dont have the red stripe cover still on it.

Its not dirt, when u press against it the air bubbles disappear then come back day or so later. Now i know the protective bit 100% has the red strip i will just leave it i must just have a small flaw in screen......am sure al soon forget about it

if it bothers you have your dealer take a look at it, don't live with it LOL. Maybe the screen is bad - warranty it
