Last night I received an email saying "Welcome back to BMW...On behalf of BMW Canada, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing your new BMW X3."

Nice touch.

Except I had not left - still have a few BMW's in my garage. None of them is a new X3.

Premature???

Ditto, but I never left. BMW dealer gives me the best trade in values, I think its lower if I trade in for a different brand. Hotel California.

In my case my bmw dealer gave me a terrible trade in. Unexpected a Honda dealer bought my f10 for about 40% more than bmw.

are you guys getting floor mats from the dealer or online? or does it already come with rubber ones?

Mine were free i.e. part of the overall deal

I thought all bmw’s came with mats. Velour or fabric / carpet types.
I think the rubber ones are extra.... at least in Australia they are.

Ya but they stain really easily with all the snow/slush/garbage in the winter though. That's why you need rubber for winter here.

The dealer included the BMW rubber ones, but I suspect that next winter when the Weathertech ones are out I will order them.

Well picked up the car today, kind of regret not buying it so I could hold onto it longer. I love this color.

You were correct. Delivery took longer than expected - I had a lot of questions - lol.

And home (before the freezing rain)

I shall take some more tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

When I saw the vehicle a week ago there was a colour transfer on the driver's seat. It came from the fact that the plastic cover had shifted and an sheet of coloured paper with final destination on it had gotten wet and been left on the seat. I spoke my CA about it, took a photo and followed up via email. I was assured that it would be cleaned up.

On delivery it was and is still there, although a little less pronounced. A new seat has been ordered. It will take 4 to 6 weeks. Something else to watch for.

Stunning. Congrats. Haven't been following the tire threads is that your winter wheel/tire set? BTW we're still waiting for plates apparently you get them right away in CA?

I love the color of the seats.

I have MOCHA here in the states on ALPINE WHITE, but I would prefer your seats.

And if I'm being really honest. I just want more Chestnut leather from my E90...

Tires and wheels are from TireRack 20" Pirelli Scorpions. The Wheels are Verdi AX MGS 9" Because of supply issues, the dealer could not assure me that he could get a winter package from BMW.

Yes, we get our plate right away. In this case because we have "plate to owner" these are the plates from my previous car.
