Picked up my 2022 X3 M40i and I noticed immediately that the center console area was not carbon fiber as I did pay for the premium carbon fiber spec. Just the door and front dash trim was carbon. Anyone have any advice? Is this something bmw can fix?

I've heard of the center console being piano black which smudges with fingerprints easily. I've seen others order replacement panels.
By default it is piano black or whatever. it isn't carbon fiber. Center console trim is same between all the trim choices. |
