I found this lip kit type diffuser for the rear of the M40i.

These pictures are low resolution and the camera angles are just as bad.

What's everyone's opinion on this find?

Its just under $250 shipped to the US. And the all black would be the only option. The red stripe of definitely ugly.

One small plus is that the installation is very simple and no need to adjust the parking sensors.

What are your thoughts on it?

Not a huge fan of these add on style pieces. It kind of looks like a diaper… But if you like it, who cares

I assume it will take lots of shit between those if thats the case.

Oh I totally agree that owners should do what makes them happy and not care about others comments.
But I guess I am looking for someone to say yes it looks really good. ha- ha becuase clearly I am not convinced. Maybe if there were better pictures I can say Yes its cool. Or Nope thats terrible.

I think it would only make sense if you already had the side skirts and a front lip kit. This kind of in my opinion would complete the all around kit.

I'd like a bit more aggressive diffuser on my M40i, but I would not go with one of these. This just sticks on top of the of the existing diffuser and doesn't look well integrated. If you want a new one, go with something that replaces the existing diffuser. Unfortunately I have yet to find a good option for LCI M40i.

I guess I do agree with all of the above comments. Not 1 single person including myself has said. Wow thats really good looking/I want one.
Nobody clearly convinced me so off to more searching and waiting I go.
