Is this an OK deal for July 2022

I found a new 2022 BMW X3 SDrive with Premium Package 2 on the lot ready to drive away.

Blue/Cognac.
Got $1600 off msrp.
OTD ~ 52.300.
3.99 % APR BMW financed.
I don't quality for other incentives

I am thinking this an OK for a car where I like the colors and ready to drive off the lot. What do you guys think?

TIA

Anything under MSRP and without a lot of add-ons is a pretty good deal in the current market. Enjoy the ride!

Do they give money factors anymore? I use Multiple Security Deposits to drop them, and wasn't sure the conversion lately.

I'll be trading the 4 series for this purchase. I'm patient and look for the right clean vehicle with very low Kms. My previous 2 cars were saphire black and I'd like to change it up. Also wife will be driving this vehicle more regularly and she prefers white.

I found probably the lowest Km vehicle on the market. 2018 X3 xDrive30i, Sunstone metallic on black leatherette with brushed aluminium trim. Prem package essential, apple car play prep, driving assist. It has 14,300 km! Very reasonable price and I've previously been offered excellent trade in value for my 428 (now at only 40k km).

Ive read on here about Sunstone metallic and it seems like a controversial color but I personally like it. I think it does look nice with shadowline but unfortunately this vehicle does not have M aerodynamic or shadowline.

Wondering what the group thinks about this combo and value at such low Km. We have a toddler and baby due next month. The 428 is fantastic but with sloped roof and 'bucket' style rear seat the car seat situation is difficult.

What options do I have for changing to shadowline and can the front fender satin aluminum pieces be switched to cerium or black?

Thanks! will post updates. appreciate any thoughts.
Not bad. If only it had PDC.

Jason,

Any way to add current BMWFS base lending rates for 36, 48, 60, 72 months to this? Maybe make it the "well qualified" rate as most will realize less qualified will be a bit higher.

Thanks

Does anyone have any insights on how difficult it is to get a lease approval from BMS FS? I'm a little nervous, probably for no reason, but growing up lower class and climbing my way out of my own poor decisions when I was younger gives me a constant worry of application rejection.

My credit score could be better (FICO Auto 640 and my utilization is a little high), but I have 4 previous car loans with no missed payments, 12% DTI and $200k income.

BMWFS declined me with a 783 FICO auto and multiple car loan history with no late payments but my utilization was 36% at the time and my income is not as high as yours. They stated utilization on revolving accounts as the reason for the decline.

That's… troubling. Unless there's something I'm missing about your total DTI, that credits score is tier 1 and that utilization is barely over the "recommended" 30%

They didn't state that as a reason. My DTI is higher due to my mortgage (which is split with my husband, who contributes much more to that than I do) but I still had never had an issue getting approved for a car loan by myself in the past, even when my credit score and income were lower. I currently have 2 vehicles, one of which would be traded in - and they explained that to BMWFS but still a no-go. Ended up financing the incoming vehicle through a different bank.

This would have been my first lease, so maybe leasing rules are more strict? But BMWFS wouldn't approve me to finance either.

Question on the loyalty money in post #1. I've had 2 other past purchases (both financed) from the same dealer and was considering a third. The loyalty money is there regardless if you finance or lease. Is that an accurate statement? And this would be nation (US) wide?

Thanks,

With the Navy Federal TrueCar $2,000 discount rebate. Can I still get the rebate if i pay cash for a vehicle?

My sales rep told me it only applied if i financed it with Navy Federal.

I'm pretty sure you can still get it. The only thing you can't do is use BMW for financing if you use the discount. There's no verbiage of having to finance through Navy that I read. Don't pull the code until you're within 60 days of paying for it though as it's only valid for 60 days. It's a great deal. I was able to get ~7% off MSRP (before tax, tags, etc.) using this and other discounts.

Nice. My sales guy who I have been dealing with for quite a few years told me straight up that the cars are at MSRP no markup on orders. If I want one off the lot I’m looking at 5-10k markup. 1600 off in this market is good. I only got a 1500 loyalty rebate. Would have liked a little discount on top. Oh wells. Only saving grace was that they bought my 2020 x3m off of me and was able to get a few thousand for it

Used X3 M40i. Good Deal?

Thoughts on this used deal?

2018 X3 M40i

Blue Metallic
Vernasca Leather with Blue M stitching
Driving Assistance
Parking Assistance
Premium Package
Executive Package
M Sport Package
Adaptive M Suspension
HK sound
Carplay
Wireless charging

(Only package I can see it doesn't have is driving assistance plus)

With my math, that comes to around $67,020 MSRP.

- $42,999
- Single Owner
- 35k mile clean carfax
- Comes with BMW OEM roof racks

I'm just hoping he wasn't just blowing smoke up my ass. I'm turning in my x3m today so I can lock in the value. So I will be without my fun car for at least a month. Unless he can get an earlier allocation

I think BMW Freeport has an x4m in stock if your budget allows
