Annoying rattle - back passenger seat

Hello all - don't know if anyone has had this issue, but recently I started to get a rattle coming from the rear....tried to find it for a week now, and it seems to be the rear seat that is causing it. I have tried several times to fold it down and re-latch it but it still rattles. Would anyone have any advice as to how I could fix this problem? Thank you very much

Try buckling the two side shoulder belts into the seat latches...
That should allow you to identify or eliminate them as a potential cause.

(assuming you don't have anything in the rear cargo or door pockets)

Did you recently have the ISOFIX recall done. I have seen instances where the rear back rest hinge shims were misplaced and this causes a very annoying rattle from the rear seat.

No I have not - thank you! I did not even know there was a recall! I have to call my dealer!

I have only owned this car since August so thank you so much for the info!

It's been so annoying and it didn't start right after I bought it - it just started a few weeks ago and was driving me nuts

It's from the pass rear and I was gonna go to my two standby tools LOL duct tape and wd40

old threat but did you ever get this resolved? I just picked up a 2016 and found that this is my loud rattle location as well! It's driving me bonkers!

My car is at the dealer for this now. Its a 22 so doesn't need the ISOFIX recall done. They're blaming it on my FI exhaust, but the issue occurred long before I installed the exhaust. Any findings would be greatly appreciated!

It is likely the button/assembly for the trunk shade thing up by the top of your seat. Mine rattled and required a lot of felt tape and some sound deadening foam to fix.
