I'm not sure if you UK guys look in the classified section, so just thought I'd put this thread up to alert you to the bits I've got for sale in there.

Eibach Springs & Spacers (both now sold) & a DTUK M40d tuning box all up for grabs!

Good luck with the sale. The recent stance by BMW against a certain YouTuber has put me off mods for a while. Probably sensible that you're doing the same I guess.......

I honestly haven't looked much into the history of the story but I think his mods were a bit on the extreme side if he was pumping out over 700hp on the M4. I can see why BMW is putting up a bit of a fight. It's more than a simple spacer/tune/intake, etc kind of mods going on there, no?

Wow dangerous game with PCP cars with so many forums, videos and pictures on the web. I thought BMWFS have been quite hot on this for a while VW group have been with some big fines.

Surely when the snow shovels come off they will charge you to repair the front bumper or worse ?

I also wonder what is declared to insurance company? All these mods are great if you have the necessary consents otherwise the potential risks are considerable (eg insurance company refuses to pay with possibly life changing financial consequences, warranty work refused again significant if for example engine blowout, and as discussed breach of pcp contract)

You have changed, I remember mentioning about your non OEM winter wheels and tyres and potential insurance/warranty issue and you weren’t bothered.

Can you notice a big difference without tuning box

The non OEM winter wheels and tyres are definitely not an issue, I won't be changing them!

Yes there's a big difference when I floor it, but 99% of the time I'm just pootling around in traffic.
