(Non-M) Need Advice: Removing Front Bumper Trim Parts

Anyone have experience removing the front impact strips on a non-M G01? These are the silver or chrome trim parts beneath the fog lights and above the side grille openings.

Can anyone offer any tips, tricks, or advice? For example, would removing the fogs be helpful? Otherwise, it seems I'll simply need to use my non‑marring removal tools to separate the strip from its surroundings to pull it away - and I fear some damage to the surrounding parts.

Apologies for the glacial response, but I've replaced all of the the silver/grey trim bits from the front and rear with new parts that I had sprayed jet black to match the rest of the vehicle. The rear cover/underride guard and the front lower trim panel were easily to remove, but extracting the front impact strips is a bit more involved.

Ditto, would love to see how it turned out? Is the silver piece in the middle/bottom part of the front bumper the "front lower trim" you mentioned? I'd also like to make all these silver parts black. Did you do the sideskirt silver impact strips too? Assuming those probably come off the same as the front impact strips (clips).

Looks incredible! I'd love to replicate almost every mod you have here. Did you buy any replacements? Remove pieces and paint? Would you mind PMing me for more details? Thanks!!
