While my 2006 Infiniti M45 was an awesome car, my favorite has been my last two which have both been Jaguar F-Paces. My current one is an F-Pace SVR and with 550HP it sounds incredible and is so much fun to drive.
My wife's 2019 BMW 440i Convertible is no slouch though. I'm sure I'l have some difficulty walking past it to the SVR after I get the Performance and Sound Kit installed. If its a sunny nice day, I could easily see myself leaving the SVR behind, dropping the top and listening to that 6 cylinder pop and crackle in sport plus, manually shifting.

Back in the day, toss up between my Mazda Rx-7 and a VW Corrado. Remember those? Cool, mostly because they were different.
Nowadays, my e92 m3 jet black. I get tons of complements on this car. I also stooped way low with a 95 ford escort. Sold that pig on wheels faster than I bought it :-) |

A few years ago I had an Alfa Romeo like this one - https://www.auto-data.net/en/alfa-ro...jts-260hp-1545
I have always liked the design of Italian cars. |

2010 135i 6MT M Sport. It was the first car I completely custom ordered. Well, maybe not the first but definitely the one I spent the most time contemplating. I still love the design of that car. Don't get me wrong, it left me stranded on my birthday (HPFP failure) and saw more dealership time than any other car I've had, but that car made me so happy. To me, it remains one of the sexiest little cars in existence and the iDrive remains one of the best executed computers out there (I went from this to a 2010 S4 and the MMI was complete garbage).
I still cry inside just a little every time I see one.

Two tied for favorite...1997 E36 M3 and 2015 Macan S.
Both completely different, but both executing their intended purpose brilliantly. Cost of ownership on both impressive due to high resale. Wife hated the M3 (stiff ride and manual trans), but loves the Macan. I hate that Porsche is not updating the ICE Macan to new platform and moving to all electric. So X5 or Cayenne will be next purchase...soon. |

When I think best, I think favorite. I know this is far from the "best" car, but I absolutely adored my first MKIV GTI. It was a 2003 1.8T in Tornado red.
It was my first hot hatch. It was the quickest car I had owned at the time. I think the MKIV is a FANTASTIC looking hatchback and has aged well. This introduced me to the "euro" and VW scene. I made lifelong friends and still keep in touch with a few people that I met through that car and local get-togethers. It was the first car I had a tune on (and any aftermarket parts!), the first car I bought wheels for and lowered, and the only car I've ever paid off. Unfortunately, I was rear-ended by someone in a 3rd gen Firebird going about 40 mph, he pushed me into the car in front of me and the car was totaled. I've certainly had "better" cars since then, but I still get excited every time I see a clean MKIV GTI. Last edited by deletemeplease; 04-23-2019 at 06:57 AM.. I don't have a favorite. I find each car has their own allure for me. I find myself wanting to drive the X5M the most but I attribute that to having just got it and the novelty of a fast SUV rather than a fast car.

I'm young so I haven't owned many. My E90 with sport pkg has really been my gold standard for driving dynamics, notably steering feel. Nothing else I've driven compares, so this car has really spoiled everything for me. I don't daily it anymore but I refuse to get rid of it since nobody has been able to build as good a car in this segment. She's in pristine condition, regularly waxed and gets its leather detailed by yours truly. I dare you to find a more pristine E90 on this planet.

It was everything I loved about the E90 in a smaller lighter package, with intoxicating power and [of course] classic BMW steering. It wasn't even an MT but was as close to automotive perfection as I've experienced. I can't even imagine driving a 1M, would be too much awesomeness. I haven't driven an M2 but I have not found the 2ers I've driven to be nearly as engaging.
