Performed a DIY dent repair..yikes!
Found a strange ding above the passenger door...have no idea where it came from (too high for a door from another car).
As scary as it was, I bought a $29 DIY kit and went to it. Check it out... |

I bought the same kit but mine is still not perfect after 10 tries. I think It's because I am pulling too hard each time. I am going to try it slowly like you did. Also I think I am using more glue than you did so I am going to try less. Thanks for your video +1 rep

OMG, I have exactly same location of dings with yours. Only difference is I had two dings there. really have no idea where it comes from, but you are the only one I found also had the ding at that wired location...if you want to repair it perfectly, it's better to find some professionals to repair it. you can check "dent time" in Youtube. They are really good at it, and they do have some tutorial of how to fix a dent with the tools you just bought. that hammer things really need some skills, i can't do that.....lol

Soo...if you're not faint of heart, the little $29 kit works, but you're right, it was scary! The most tricky part was indeed taping down the high spot with a little plastic tap tool. |
