The 2018/2019 X3 had three different styles of instrument clusters. The analog in the base model. The partial digital in the premium package. And the full digital in the executive package (not to be confused with the 2020 live cockpit version). If you don't have the full digital I don't think this will work for you or not since I've never played with the partial digital instrument cluster.

If your 2018/2019 X3 is equipped with the executive package and the full digital instrument cluster you can select reduced information in your heads up display menu options. The heads up display will then no longer display things like the navigation information and radio information, but rather the vehicle will display that in the right circle of the instrument cluster. The navigation only displays the map when you have destination selected and the map partially goes away to display the tach some of the time.

Hope that helps!

Took this pic today to show you what I was talking about.

Someone needs to get some coding done to get the bottom display that shows the MPG into a tachometer and the map displayed full time in the right circle. That would be sick!

Okay, this looks so sick! Happy with the way the black roof looks. Although I think the roof needs to be rewrapped by a different shop. Way too many glue lines for the premium price they charged. Need to discuss that with them tomorrow.
