Awesome knowing you’ve got one with such mileage! Anything outside of regular maintenance?

Going to take a long time for that mindset to permeate many drivers. I'm getting better with the voice commands but there are times the system goes into stupid mode and won't recognize anything including phone commands. Oh yeah, and when I'm on the highway I have to speak louder to compensate for the wind noise.

If this is the biggest thing I have to complain about then I guess its a pretty damn good vehicle, but I cannot believe that red is not a color choice for the ambient lighting in the 23 M40i! I know it's only a quick BimmerCode change away, but I feel like I shouldn't have to do that for a primary color that is also used in BMW's "M" logos and their 50th anniversary emblems!

So I'm not going to say "hate", but my 19" Y-spoke 887M wheels are a royal PITA to clean/keep clean. I'm not talking "get them ceramic-coated" tough to clean. I'm talking very tedious to clean.
All the nooks/crannies of this style are hard to fit a wheel brush into with any kind of ease, it's tough to reach/completely clean the inner wheel surfaces, and with all the detail on these wheels, it's also more difficult to reach/clean the calipers. Oh, and as an added benefit, I used my wheel brush I've had for several years (with no ill effects) and now I have small scratches on the black paint. Not swirl marks, but scratches from the inner metal support that holds the bristles. I guess thinking glass-is-half-full, this may ultimately be my reason for using these as a winter setup, and getting 20" wheels/non-RF tires for summer/fall. Hmmm.... Cheers~

Same with the brush. Very first cleaning and I used my wheel brush (which isn’t at all abrasive) and it scratched the black paint all over. Took hours hand polishing them again before I could give them their ceramic coat.
