Deleting items from a build

Is it possible to get credit for deleting a panoramic roof from a build which was included in the package? I really have no use for the sunroof which from reading these posts can be a problem anyway. Will the dealer give credit for a 402 item?Would appreciate hearing your experience on this. Also can non- runflats be substituted for the RF's and any credit given on those? Thanks.... new to this forum.

I would be amazed if it is even possible to delete an item of standard spec...

As part of build your can specify performance tyres (non RFT) but needs to be selected as part of build. You can change things (not parts of packs) up to a certain point them locked down

You can select only the items BMW offers you to be selected. In the US, where the OP is from, we have far fewer individual options than the UK and Europe. Standard content is much greater here, and most of the other individual items that you can chose from are bundled in packages. Here, each wheel comes with either RFTs on Non-RFTs. There's no ability to substitute.

I get that, equally they (dealer) are not going to give credit or have ability to remove some factory options

When ordering last month, I was able to spec non-runflats on the 19" 693's without adding Luxury Line. It may have added the spare automatically, but I had already had it as an option. Interestingly enough, my monroney lists the non-runflats but doesnt list the spare, and the MSRP is 150.00 less than the actual build and final price.

As for the sunroof, I would doubt you could have it built, much less get a credit.

Yup, 19" Y-spoke ferric grey wheels, style 693 with all-season non run-flat tires are a $600 option that includes the space saver spare at no additional cost.

I don't know, to say there is a $600 option that includes something at 'no cost' does not quite add up.

Yikes! Check the Pricing Guide or the online configurator.

I guess what I mean is that if you have to pay for a $600 package, the extra included item isn't really "free".

Spare included with non RFTs. I did the same.

It is weird tho because on my order sheet it shows as N/C option under xLine.

1X7 19" Y-spoke ferric gray wheels, style 693 N/C

300 Space-saver spare N/C
