OP the whip looks great! I'm still holding out for the G80 with high hopes they don't massacre the front grills.

The grilles are the grilles. Just gotta roll with it and move onto the other attributes that will attract you.

Appreciate it, DK_LA. Although I haven’t driven the ones you mention, a number of Members who frequent the F97/98 Forum own those so have a lot of experience they can share. Their comments can be found by skimming through some of those threads [ https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=695 ]. It seems a fair number of them are transitioning to the F97/98.

Nice to see proper badge placement on the M model SUV's. The downward placement of the badges on the non-M models looks retarded.

Really nice, but how are you going to keep the swirl marks out of the paint. It's inevitable.
Always wanted a black car. Went with white on my X4 M40i, imperfections less noticeable, and I'm a detail guy.
One swirl mark in that paint would make me sick.

Does ceramic coating really prevent swirl marks, jeez if it does I'm gonna run and get mine done tomorrow, thanks for the insight. Good Luck with that beautiful ride.

My opinion BMW hasn't been doing much right lately, especially looks department. And the over use of that "M" badge is brutal. That said, looks wise they nailed this one. It's a beauty, especially in black.Good luck, and a fine choice
