Your money factor rate is high, it should be .00182 for the month of December. Having them adjust that to correct rate would help reduce your payment.

Wondering if this is a good deal since I jumped on it today before end of year:

2019 X3 M40i - Dealer Stock

MSRP - $65920
Sale Price - $58920
Finance Rebate - $3,000

Financed 3.89% here in Northern Virginia over 72 mths plus money down, puts my payment somewhere around $847

I've called around to a few dealers with comparable cars as close to this car (has everything wife wants) and at most I've seen $5k with less rebates.

I was $57K out the door (including tax and out of state titling) on a $64,720 MSRP. That APR is also high. I used BMW FS for 2.89%/60 mos....a little higher car payment then I wanted, but for $3K off and a lower APR it was worth it. Still, USAA offered 3.24% for 72 mos.

Ok, so you're getting ~15% off msrp in total. That's good. Seems to be on the better end of deals.

One guy got 17% off on these forums this week, he's the only one I've heard. I got similar to yours.

I just checked the website for SoCal dealer claiming 6.25% APR for 800 or better credit. Is this for real?

Do I have a choice? I think this is the only way to get the $3k rebate. I do agree. It's really terrible.

You can order a car from anywhere in the country. Call BMW Werks in Chicago. Or BMW of Redding PA - there a few more people on here will help you with. I got 2.89% with a score of 800+

Keep in mind that incentives do vary by region and some are only available to people registering their car in that region.

I'm from NYC and I got a great deal from Coggin in Florida. But decided to go with someone closer as they did a little better. I'm not sure about your statement, but it's certainly possible. I'm not sure.

All I am saying is that comparing deals is not always apples to apples. Incetinevs vary by month/region and some have residency restrictions.

Hit up Greg Poland at Pacific BMW in Glendale if you're looking for a car in California. Our M40i arrived by truck last week. Even after paying a lot for shipping b/c I live in a "remote" area, we saved thousands. No one could touch his deal (I'm a multi car customer of his though).

Agree that they vary (widely) by region. People just need to look around a bit and ask.

I think it's a bit of shady tactics from the dealership. When you apply through the dealership you're giving them carte blanche with your credit report. They can apply with any lender out there to find THEMSELVES the best deal for you. I was pre-approved with my bank (USAA) for 3.24%/72 mos or 3.09%/60 mos. BMW offered 2.89%/60 mos with $3K rebates. So I told the dealership I would use BMW or my financing only....not some other lender. In the end I used BMW since it was the best rate and offered rebates.
I think if you can't get approved through BMW, they'll throw your credit report to all other lenders to find you a loan. But OTOH, I think they might throw your credit out there to any lender anyways so they can get you a 72 month or 84 month loan or maybe even a better APR to get you a lower monthly payment so they can sell you additional warranties and paint protections, etc. It's all sleazy sales shit.

I know the destination fee is 995 charged by bmw on all new cars and passed onto the buyer, but what about the "acquisition" fee? Is this set by bmw or the dealer? Is it negotiable?

Are people able to discount these at 15% off MSRP when doing custom orders? The lease residuals are awful compared to what I am used to on my previous 2013 and 2016 leases. Looking to negotiate down from MSRP as best I can. Looking to do a deal this week before end of year so I'm hoping they will be aggressive.

15% off msrp is on the good end, people are doing it. 1 guy here got 17.5% but that's the only person I've seen that good. But who knows.

I just received this quote for a 2019 X3

Msrp- 64820

Dealer price before rebates- 59940.
Do you guys think this is a good deal? FWIW I live in the DFW area and this is from a out of state dealer. Any feedback or leads on where I could get a better deal are greatly appreciated!
