Eeek. I do like the look of the OEM one with the X3 logo, but that looks like a piece of junk in the trunk with the fit and size.

Exactly, I look at the picture of the mat (Not inside the car) when I make the purchase, but it fit really bad when put it in the cargo space

I don't know who design this, it is a bit too long, it slide around. All 4 side left up in some way, the front facing the opening is the worse.

Here are the issue of the OEM mat
1). The size is not a perfect fit. It is so poorly fitted it give you a feeling it is an after market
2). It slide around
3). The edge of it ever stay flat. The 2inches or so EDGE on 3 side always stays up. I think I take a picture later to show the issue.

My wife have a infiniti, and before that have a MDX, both OEM mat are perfect fit, never move
I was in Infiniti dealer last weekend with my wife to look at the new QX, their OEM floormat and cargo mat now seem like is from 3D MAXpider , exact same look , just with infinit logo.

I already replaced my BMW OEM all season floor mat (Only used it for 1 week and can't stand it), and use the OEM gargo mat for 4 months now and decided to replace it.
Thanks for the details. I agree after seeing your pics. My only gripe about the spider mats is the badging is hideous IMO. But I get it, fit and finish looks much improved over OEM

The badges are much less noticeable than you might think. I had to go look at mine to even remember they were there after I read this. I wonder if they could be easily removed....

We just picked up our X3 yesterday and got the OEM cargo mat and it has this issue. It is a POS. I plan to put it in the hot Texas sun tomorrow and then tape the edges under and then bring it inside to cool off. Hopefully the edges will stay rolled down. If not, we will be returning these and getting something else.

I agree. I have had in several cars and they are awesome, until they actually get used for their purpose.

I have scrubbed for a total of ours and used all sorts of cleaners.

It never looks any better (well...ok, slightly better than post) than shown here.

It has resulted in me buy a third set for the summer and use the weather tech only in the winter.

Three sets: fabric that came with car (used to drive home only), OEM bmw rubbery ones shown on the first post, and the weathertech

At this point I've just given up, as long as the dirt from the mat isn't coming off onto my shoes I guess I'll just live with the look. I'm not going to spend a whole afternoon scrubbing the full set of mats.

I'm also in Dallas. I'm on my second cargo liner. The first I had for a year, and it rolled up on all for sides as in the pics shared. I complained to Classic, and they gave me a new one. That looked good for about 2 weeks. Now it's as bad/worse than my original. Very frustrating. I guess I need to look at one from WeatherTech?

I did the sun thing and it helped but didn't solve the roll up problem. So I just put some duct tape on the back side to hold the edges in. That works but is stupid to have to do that.

It’s kinda funny - I have the OEM rubber rear floor liner mats (two kids here) and they work and fit perfectly. As in I could not ask for anything better. Yet the trunk liner is garbage.

I just ordered the #d Maxpider cargo mat. The OEM is just a POS. I would return it but it was free and has duct tape all over the back now.

As a follow-up to the poor fitment for the front 3D MAXpider mats and the wrong item being shipped to me, I contacted the business I purchased from (AutoAnything) and they have refused to exchange them for the correct model because they are "used". I did use them for a week until I found out they were incorrect. Really poor company. Stupid me for not checking the reviews on the company before I purchased them as there a tons of bad reviews. Stay away!

Is your car a m40i? Any reason you chose that version rather than the one that works with the rails?

I am confused. I want the 'deeper' liners for my X3 like in the first post by FCBayernFTW and not like what DrNeutron got in the second post.

What part numbers do I need to order?

Thanks.
