Please stop overpaying for your BMWs! Ask us anything!

Thank you to all the members for your trust and support over the past few years!

We've made it through scarce inventory levels, and BMW back on track for most of their model lineup.

You do not have to lease/buy a car from us, but please use our numbers when shopping for one. There are still way too many posts of people paying MSRP or higher.

Money Factor buy rate: .00165, .00125 (39 mo lease loyalty for x3 30i)
Finance rate: 4.59% for up to 60 months on finance/select

Here is the latest breakdown of % off you should aim for before any rebates.
Loyalty is a $1500 incentive.

If you can't get close, please give us a shout.

8% off x3 xdrive30i
5% off x3 M40i (limited allocation)
3% off X3M (limited allocation)

x4 all trim levels are weak still, so 3% is your target

Remember, discount + buy rate for the win!

depending on where you live, the target is 5% off before rebates with buy rate MF/APR

Thanks!

Glad to see prices are returning back to a more normal market. This MSRP or above thing is nonsense.
Thanks.

I personally don’t think BMW is back on track with their lineup. Demand is still high and inventory is still low. Last weekend I visited my local BMW dealer to test drive the X3 and X4 and neither was available. I ended up test driving a used 2022 X3 and no X4 at all. I did get to see an X4 that was already sold. The X3 was missing wide side adjustment and passenger seat was all blank for buttons. The 2023 X4 had lumbar driver but passenger seat was all blank buttons. Both missing HK. Parts are still sketchy and dealer said whatever is available at time of build is what you get.

Hi, I have some questions and would like to learn more, figured I ask them here in case others have similar questions.

I am a broker (Commercial Real Estate) so I understand the value in a broker for certain transactions my questions are as follows, sorry if too many:

1. How does your fee get paid and how can it be cheaper for me to work through you, I would like to understand it.

2. Can you really get me somewhere below MSRP with your fees paid?

3. What about all the normal dealer fees and BS they try to add, can you get me an OTD price if we find a car? Or if I build one, can you show me what the real final pricing will look like?

4. What if the car isn't in stock locally, can you find it elsewhere or does the shipping cost negate the savings?

5. What if we can't find it and need to order from factory? Can you help with that and also do you know the real time frame involved as I need to try and time it somewhat with the return of another leased car.

6. This would be a purchase and I would probably finance it. I can use my own bank if need be or BMW financial.

7. I just purchased 2 BMW's last month; 1 x3 purchased brand new and 1 2022 M340i pre owned for my son. Both are in my name however the next one might be in my wife's name, does that matter for loyalty? I paid cash for the m340 so if it saves me money I can put this last one in my name too, I will be approved without issue for a 2nd loan.

8. What is loyalty and how does it work? Is that an additional discount after other discounts?

Again, sorry for so many questions if you want to DM or call me let me know. I have some time until this purchase but if you can get me the same car for net amount less, I'm all ears.

Thanks, Joey

I'll let Dan answer most of that for himself, but I had a generally good experience getting my M8 through him in the middle of all of the parts mess. He got me several thousand off that I doubt I could have gotten on my own at that point so I still came out ahead even with his $500 fee. I paid him the fee directly. This was a special order car with a custom color so ordering wasn't a problem. I did a PCD, but I think I would have otherwise had to drive from Ohio to Maryland where the dealer was to pick it up as I did with my X3 purchase from that same dealer or pay to have it shipped. I think he mostly deals with east coast dealers.

Demand has definitely slowed in recent months

When dealers are calling brokers to help, something is wrong in the world haha

I can't tell you the number of calls we received in March asking if we could move their units. FLORIDA dealers called us...insane!

We charge a $499 broker fee. It keeps us on the same side of the table. For brokers who build in their fee with the dealer, it's not transparent, and they are essentially working against you to build in their profit. Our fee is fully refundable for any reason if you don't take delivery of your car, even if you change your mind at the last minute.

2. Can you really get me somewhere below MSRP with your fees paid? For most BMWs, absolutely! The exception is the M3 still...it has been hard to get any discount for the past 2.5 years!

I mean we can get $8000 off the new XM some people were paying over sticker for, but the M3 is still a big fat 0.

3. What about all the normal dealer fees and BS they try to add, can you get me an OTD price if we find a car? Or if I build one, can you show me what the real final pricing will look like? We send calculator links to each one of our customers. It's about full transparency, so you can see if any BS fees are included or if there is a mark-up in rate. We avoid dealers with stupid add-ons but sometimes the deal still works even with stupid nitrogen in the tires lol.

4. What if the car isn't in stock locally, can you find it elsewhere or does the shipping cost negate the savings? We work mainly on the east coast, but that's quickly changing as we get more west coast dealers on board. If shipping negates the deal, we will let you know that it's not worth shipping a black x3 from New York to Arizona and try to source one closer to you.

5. What if we can't find it and need to order from factory? Can you help with that and also do you know the real time frame involved as I need to try and time it somewhat with the return of another leased car. 50% of our new deals are orders. We do not sell wait list spots but only buildable allocations with a production number. A few exceptions to that have been the x7m60 where only 1 dealer was willing to discount when they first came out.
With the production number, it's easy to track the status of your build, and we track the progress along with you, sending periodic updates via email/text.

6. This would be a purchase and I would probably finance it. I can use my own bank if need be or BMW financial. It can be any bank or cash. We can go over the pros/cons of using BMWFS or not, that's easy.

Loyalty discount is based on name and/or household. Anyone living at the same address will qualify for loyalty. We did one recently in NYC where the roommate had a BMW, so the other roommate qualified. He had 4 other roommates, so those roommates would also qualify. Gotta love NYC!

8. What is loyalty and how does it work? Is that an additional discount after other discounts? Any BMW in the household address...yes most BMWs have an additional incentive for loyalty if you finance/lease through BMWFS

Again, sorry for so many questions if you want to DM or call me let me know. I have some time until this purchase but if you can get me the same car for net amount less, I'm all ears.

Thanks, Joey

We are BMW enthusiasts first, and I've personally owned over 20 BMWs. As our previous AMAs have stated, we don't want this to be an advertisement but more of an advisement on how to secure the best deal. Use us or don't, hopefully you discover what the current market looks like and what to arm yourself with when going to battle against the dealers.

Thanks for the post, Joey! I swear we didn't pay him to post these softball questions haha!

if only i held out.... paid msrp for a custom m40i back in september (tail end of the shortages i guess) dealer did buy my previous lease (which i would have gotten nothing for had i turned it in at lease end) so was able to use the equity towards the new one... not ideal i know. a respectable monthly
hoping that things get back eventually to the way they were (had gotten 17% off on an x3m back in 2019 right before the whole pandemic thing set in)

honestly i am very curious of your personal opinion on this

are the allocations for the m3/m4 supply constrained or demand being to high?

i FIND it hard to believe m3 demand is so much that 3 years in we cant find a car easily

So much for the grille stopping sales, theoretically.

i dont think demand has anything to do with it... sure demand is high... there is no way that demand is multiples past M3s... like everyone just woke up and decided they all wanted m3s... the performance car segment is dying a slow death...
where were these buyers in 2010,2015 and hell even 2019 when I could buy 10 bmw m2 comps brand new if i wanted to?

I agree on the performance car market unfortunately. As also evidenced by BMW going from an enthusiast brand to 'cars for the people'.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions... and no, no one paid me to ask these, these are legit questions/concerns as I am getting close to wanting to find my x3 (m40i).

At this point, I think I'll give you a call to get into more specifics about what I'm looking for, I just figured my general questions here would be good in case anyone else was thinking the same. In my business, no one likes paying my fee but after 25 years many of my clients understand that it nets them more money, so I figured it must be the same otherwise Dan (I think that's your name?) wouldn't be in business for long! Glad to hear demand is slowing so hopefully I can find a decent deal on the m40i that I am seeking soon!

The M3 hits the right price point and demographic, so demand really hasn't subsided at all. This time last year in 2022, the used M3C xdrives were going at the auction at $100k which was nuts.

Day Laborer must get 50 inquiries a day for M3/M4 allocations and fills empty slots at various dealers before the rest of the sales team even realizes they have them.

M4 was never as popular and I don't think BMW produces as many of these for that reason.

Thanks!

Can't wait for all dealerships to go out of business. I'm ready to start adding cars to cart like we do with Amazon.
