It's finally here!! 2023 X3 M40i

Our brand new custom order X3 M40i just arrived to the dealership today!!!!!

Tires were already swapped this evening (thanks to our amazing sales manager that stepped into save the day for us) from the Bridgestone run flats to Michelin PS AS 4s. Full ceramic window tint will be applied first thing in the morning and then we'll be picking her up tomorrow afternoon (hopefully before the snow storm that's headed our way arrives)! To say we are excited is a huge understatement.

Timeline for those interested:

12/6 - Placed the order with our dealer on an existing allocation they had. Was given a production # that evening when the build sheet was sent to us.

12/8 - Order was scheduled for production

12/17 - Was informed by BMW Genius that we had a production date of 01/10

01/03 - Production date changed to 01/09

01/09 - Online tracker changed to entering the assembly line

01/10 - Awaiting carrier assignment

01/12 - Car actually shipped

01/16 - Car arrives in CO

What a fast delivery!. I ordered my 40i 12/30 and dealer estimated arrive someday on July.

One question… how you recived the tracking system? My dealer sais that pre-COVID bmw send mail to customer but today I only can to ask them from time to time.
