Thanks for the pics. Looks good, are you pleased with it?

I can’t understand why BMW with all it’s ability, don’t have a constantly updated library of decent images for customers to view? The images on the configurator are not HD and don’t show enough detail.

I love it. I went in blind other than a small 1" square piece at one dealer. My vehicle arriving was the first I'd seen or the dealer had seen of it and we're both quite pleased. I gives off a classy look in my opinion and those that have checked it out. Would absolutely order it again. The only other color I sorta almost debated was the white. Sadly I can't imagine it staying white with me.

I'm still going back and forth between the black w/blue stitching that I currently have in my M40i, which I still like or the mocha for a change. Some photos, it kind of has a purple tone to it, which I don't like. Like with everything, lighting makes a difference. I just kind of wanted to break up the all black look on the door panels, dash top, etc. with the mocha color.

I’ve ordered the X3 M40d, black sapphire, Fiona red & black Merino, with rhombicle trim. I drove a 30d M Sport in the same colour and same leather but it had Piano Black trim, which looked good but did show up dusty and finger marks, although, admittedly, were confined to the area around the idrive.

I’ve looked at the images on the configurator (they’re not brilliant) a million times... I like the piano black, but I also like the look of the little bit of silver (ally) trim.

I’ll be interested to hear what everyone thinks?

I really like the alu fine line trim. It's of a higher quality than the roombicle imo. I have the alu in my E91 and roombicle in my F20. The roombicle feels bit plastic to me and the alu is real aluminium.

The other aluminium option for the X3 is described as ‘Aluminium fine cutting’. I don’t know if this something completely new or something that BMW have had in other cars? I’m aware of the ‘Brushed aluminium trim’, but not the ‘fine cutting’... are they one and the same? I know that the rhombicle is aluminium, it’s not plastic but the subtle rhomboid pattern on it may not be to everyone’s liking, although I quite like it. I like the brushed too, but don’t know if the ‘fine cutting’ they describe as an option for the X3 is... actually just brushed? If I knew for sure, I might consider it.
